Larry O'Day began studying Hwa Rang Do in 1995 under Chris Bailey (3rd degree black belt). Received 2nd degree black belt in Hwa Rang Do in 2014. He has been an instructor in martial arts at several schools and has provided private lessons for over 20 years. Larry began training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2004 under Chris Lopez, then switched to Gracie Jiu Jitsu in 2008. He received his BJJ black belt in 2025 from Professor Jon Wagner. He is continuing his education in Gracie Jiu Jitsu under the Instructor Certification Program and intends to test at Gracie University for a black belt upon receipt of an invitation to do so. Larry has been an instructor at the Gracie Jiu Jitsu school in Mesa, AZ since May 2025.
